- Catwalk Creative Vintage
This website belongs to a friend of mine called Louise. She is mad about vintage clothing, jewellery and homewares. It's a great site and she is always listing new finds. Check it out!
- Clothkits
I buy my pompoms and ric rac from here. It's been going since the 70s!
- Fabworks Textile Mill Shop
I just recently discovered this Aladdin's cave in Dewsbury, full of lovely tweeds, textiles and trimmings, all at a very reasonable price. They have some Liberty silks aswell!
- James Ward Digital Coach
James is a digital coach, who helps people to make the most of their presence on the internet, increasing their traffic on search engines. He has worked wonders for me, maybe he could do the same for you!
- Lasso The Moon
Great gifts and accessories that stand out from the (mass-produced) crowd, including Eclectic Chair cushions! Very pretty website too!
- PASH Directory
PASH is a shop situated just ever so slightly off the beaten track in Harrogate. Run by PAula and SHelley who are pretty passionate about PRINT ART SALVAGE AND HANDMADE stuff! They are rather partial to anything involving typography so we sell lots of wooden and metal type, letterpress posters, curiosities, vintage factory lights, a lot of things made of wood and cast iron, glassware, cakestands, glass domes. We sell salvaged labware, desks, school chairs. Reclaimed cast iron edgings, old (and new) trestles.
- Space Harrogate
A real treasure trove of cool and groovy vintage and retro clothes, homeware, furniture, artwork. It is one of my favourite places to visit in Harrogate!
- Staying Cool: stylish serviced apartments in Birmingham and Manchester
These guys have gorgeous serviced apartments in Manchester, Birmingham and Barcelona, and I have made a lot of their cushions and headboards, and reupholstered several chairs.
- The Lime Tree
I used to be the manager of this lovely independent restaurant in West Didsbury, Manchester, and I thoroughly recommend anyone in the area to try it.
- The Traditional Upholstery Workshop
This is where I learned how to upholster! Under the tutelage of Myra Cazalet and Liz marks. I heartily recommend the course and it is located near Ceredigion in Pembrokeshire, a stunning part of Wales. Each time I went it was like a little holiday for me.
